Capstone project

My capstone project focuses on improving oral hygiene and education of health care in the poorer areas of the world. I want to build a dental clinic in many areas of Africa and India. Many of the people that live in these areas, especially children, are unable to get treatment for their teeth or do not understand how to clean their teeth by themselves in a healthy way. As a result, these people suffer from many diseases such as gingivitis, heart disease, and tooth decay. These diseases may lead to many other deadly diseases which cause the high mortality rates in these areas of the world. The dental clinics that I will provide will not only provide free oral health care for these people, but they will also educate these people on the importance of oral hygiene. There will be classrooms set up and teachers there to educate the adults and children on health care. This can also help them possibly aspire to have careers in these areas because the health industry could always use more people to work with. I believe this dental clinic will open many doors of opportunity for these people for them to be able to live a great life. I plan on using Dreamweaver to make a website to promote the clinic. I also plan on using Google Sketchup to build a virtual 3D model of the clinic.

opinions on survey results

I think the survey turned out the way I expected. Most of the people in this classroom should know how to already tie a shoe, so I think that is why that was the answer to the second question. I think our video was very enjoyable and instructive. We had good demonstrations, and the directions were clear. Most people believed the video could not have been improved, and I believed that is true as well. It seems like that was the answer from everybody.
